HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I need serious HELP! I don't know what to do friends and family! Elliana is getting up no later than 5:15 every morning! It doesn't matter what time I put her to bed, she still wakes up that early! I don't know what to do; please help me! I can't handle this lack of sleep any more!

Love,

Losing It Mommy!

i can't entirely remember what i did with mady but when she woke up early i would put her back to bed i think one thing that helped change it was keeping her room dark, making sure she was really full before bed, and when she got sick or didn't get any naps she would be so tired she would sleep in and then after a few days she got used to it.... sorry i'm not much more help. good luck!

having the same problem with my abbigale. I'm naughty and just give her a sippy cup and she goes back to sleep (i'm pretty sure that it's a big no no. everyone says that you never give drinks in bed. but desperate mommies call for desperate measures some time. And I don't do it every morning either.) With luke it was easier because we lived in a house and there was no other kids in his room. I would just go in and give him his stuffed animal and his pacifier. Tell him it was still sleeping time and I just let him cry :(. Not everyone agrees with that. I worked for him though. He didn't cry for very long before he would go to sleep. Good luck!

I had the same problem with Ainsley and our Ped Dr. just said keep the room dark and don't go and get her until 7. She will learn she will cry but she will get use to it and will learn to sleep later. Good luck!

You should just have another baby and then you'll already be up most of the night anyways! ;)

Carrie went through a phase like that a few months ago. Luckily hers only lasted a little over a week. I don't think it was anything I did, but it stopped sooo.... I hope Elli stops soon too!

When Crystal does that, we go in to make sure she's okay (for my sake mostly...hehe), lay her back down and tell her its still bed time, then leave. She usually cries for a minute but eventually falls back to sleep. If that doesn't work, try putting a few toys in the bottom of her crib after she falls asleep at night. When she wakes up ready to play, the toys may entertain her till you are ready to get up too. I did that for a while when she was younger and consistently getting up before Ty and I were ready.
